The excitement is palpable as the official trailer for the highly anticipated documentary series, «Boyzone: No Matter What», has finally been released. This three-part series, available on Sky Documentaries from Sunday, 2 February, offers an in-depth look into the lives of one of the world’s most celebrated boy bands. The two-minute trailer promises an engaging narrative filled with highs, lows, and behind-the-scenes secrets from their journey to stardom.
Formed in 1993, Boyzone quickly rose to dominate the charts, creating anthems that still resonate with fans today. However, «Boyzone: No Matter What» delves deeper, revealing the rivalries, betrayals, and personal tragedies that led to their eventual decline. Thousands of fans adored their music, but the pressures and conflicts that came with fame took a significant toll on the band, including on members Ronan Keating, Keith Duffy, Shane Lynch, Michael ‘Mikey’ Graham and late Stephen Gately. Each will share their perspective on these tumultuous events, making it a must-watch for any Boyzone enthusiast. They talk about the newspaper, The Sun, that forced Stephen Gately out of the closet in 1999 and Stephen suddenly passing away in 2009!
This insightful documentary is produced by Curious Films, under the direction of Sophie Oliver. With insight from executive producers Hayley Reynolds and Tom Barry, the series promises to offer a candid portrayal of the band. Join Boyzone on their journey as they come together to share their story thirty years later. Don’t miss the chance to watch «Boyzone: No Matter What» and hear the truth behind the fame, starting 2 February on Sky Documentaries and streaming service NOW.
