Queer Pop Singer Neyon Comments On Gay Online Dating With New Single

Berlin based queer pop singer Neyon launches his latest reinvention with electronic buzz single «Fun With Anyone».

The song is a commentary to his experiences on renowned gay dating apps. «Conversations on those platforms can be so awkward sometimes, people send intimate pics without asking and feel offended if you find that rude», says the queer artist to me.

The track’s dance-oriented drums and multilayered synthesisers are both influenced by Berlin’s club culture as well as traditional cabaret. Neyon’s singing melody is joyful and plain pop and adds an ironic element to the overall mood of the song. «Of course, we all push our egos and want to enjoy dating. But there’s people that chase the very practical thing and then there’s me who has standards and who knows what he wants. And this hurts some egos, but that’s life», Neyon further describes what inspired the track.

«Fun With Anyone» are now on all streaming services after an Instagram cover reveal of different personas played by Neyon.
