This dramatic and experimental dark pop song delves into the waves of emotions that are the aftermath of a turbulent relationship. «Drowning» marks a new sound and style for Jxckson.
Produced by Boy Sim, «Drowning» is an intense departure track that showcases Jxckson’s signature playful vocals with a new twist. The music video is scheduled to be filmed on February 17th and features choreography by Haley Sikes.
«I wrote ‘Drowning’ a few years ago as a demo. It’s about the feeling of being both overwhelmed and numbed by the waves of emotions after a relationship and then trying to find a way to cope», said Jxckson. «I wanted to capture the disoriented feeling of not knowing what’s going to happen next. I hope it resonates with people going through similar experiences».
Wow, you got something to look forward too, you don’t wanna miss this. Listening to «Drowning», just blew my mind.
«Drowning» will be available on 3rd March on all streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal. Jxckson‘s new sound and style are a must-listen.
