Fans of Heated Rivalry are bracing for a major drop as the official soundtrack vinyl and CD finally hit pre‑order on Thursday, 26 March. After months of anticipation, the team behind the series has confirmed exactly what buyers can expect — and it’s shaping up to be one of the biggest soundtrack launches of the year.
The vinyl will be available worldwide, meaning collectors from London to Los Angeles can get their hands on it, though shipping times will vary. There’s no countdown clock or limited‑time scramble either. Retailers will begin going live from 12:01am EST, with more added throughout the day. Fans can head straight to heatedrivalry.lnk.to/vinyl for the vinyl and heatedrivalry.lnk.to/soundtrack-cd for the CD.
In a rare bit of good news for collectors, stock isn’t limited during the pre‑order window. No early alarms, no instant sell‑outs, no panic buying. Everything is expected to ship mid‑July, with exact dates shown on retailer pages depending on location.
One edition is already causing a stir: the Icy Inferno colourway, a limited variant available exclusively from the Milan Records and Sony Music Canada online shops. Nowhere else will stock it, making it the must‑grab version for hardcore fans.
The vinyl package itself is loaded with extras. Buyers get two discs featuring needle drops from the show and selections from Peter Peter’s original score, plus a double‑sided 12×24” poster, two trading cards, an inner gatefold spread and two‑sided disc sleeves packed with imagery, credits and liner notes from creator Jacob Tierney. The only difference between the vinyl variants is the colour of the discs — everything else is identical.
More reveals are on the way, with the team teasing upcoming first looks at the trading cards, poster and interior artwork. Fans should also expect slight colour variations on the final LPs, as each one is individually pressed, making every copy unique.
The CD edition mirrors the vinyl’s attention to detail, offering two discs featuring needle drops and Peter Peter’s complete original score, along with a fold‑out poster and full liner notes from Tierney.
Both the vinyl and CD — including the exclusive Icy Inferno variant — will be available on the Milan Records shop, while the Montreal vs. Boston vinyl edition and the CD will also be stocked widely across retailers and indie record stores. Fans can sign up for alerts at heatedrivalry.lnk.to/pre-order to make sure they don’t miss the moment pre‑orders go live.
A sneak preview of the full tracklist for both formats is already available, giving fans an early taste of what’s coming.
