TWRP Share New Single «Need Each Other»

TWRP share «Need Each Other» featuring Planet Booty, the second single from their forthcoming album «Over The Top», due out on September 25th.

The band shares: «Need Each Other is laid-back piano funk featuring Oakland-based electro-funk trio, Planet Booty. The soulful vocal feature highlights the importance of togetherness during trying times. All the way to its floating, dreamy outro, the song emphasises that when the pressures and challenges of life become overwhelming, it’s necessary to depend on the love and support of one another to make it through».

TWRP’s new album, «Over The Top», is just that – another entry in their discography that delivers an exaggerated rendering of their wide-ranging influences, while not taking itself too seriously. Rich vintage synthesisers, shred guitar, and driving disco rhythms all find their place in the music – and despite an air of levity and irony in its delivery, real themes of change, perseverance, and gratitude permeate the album. With an attitude of playfulness and honesty in the music, «Over The Top» seems to say that now more than ever it’s important to find the humour and enjoyment through life’s challenges.
