Osvaldo Supino – «Cold Again»

The Italian singer's exciting project against stigma about mental health and depression «All The Times I Felt Too Alone».

«Cold Again» is the new single and video by Osvaldo Supino, one of the most recognised and awarded Italian artists abroad.

The track from the album «Sparks» is an intimate and exciting ballad that conquers the listener from the very start and shows all the vulnerability of an artist who is able to reinvent himself every time with credibility.

In «Cold Again» Osvaldo deals with the difficult theme of depression, a subject as delicate as it is current and universal. More than just gossip, the piece is a courageous and sincere confession by the artist: «when I was sick I realised that listening to other people’s stories I felt less lonely». Osvaldo said to me,  «I chose to open myself up to something so private, more than anything else, if possible, to help someone feel less alienated».

Not just a record release, but a real awareness campaign to overcome the stigma and prejudice that still affect people suffering from mental problems and their families today. This action is enhanced by the collaboration with the Ithaca Foundation (Fondazione Itaca), of which Osvaldo has become ambassador in Italy, and the collaboration with TalkSpace, which promotes information, prevention and support programmes aimed at people suffering from mental health disorders and their families.

The single is accompanied by a video clip which was made for the first time in a surprising simplicity to further enhance the lyrics of the song; a real novelty in the award-winning videography of the artist, but one that certainly marks an important point in his first 10 years of career.

Osvaldo, who recently represented Italy at Global Pride (the biggest event in LGBT history together with Elton John, Melanie C, Adam Lambert) and went viral again with his passage on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, he adds «We are in an era where through social media we all have our say and contaminate those around us. We need to feel a moral responsibility and carry out messages and initiatives that can really help others».

With «Cold Again» Osvaldo proves once again his great ability to empathise with those who listen to him, to excite and be credible, even in a minimal ballad, so far from the pop dance rhythms that have made him unique in the Italian music scene.

To date Osvaldo Supino is one of the most awarded and recognised independent Italian artists abroad, holds the record for 3 nominations at the BT Digital Music Awards, winner of 2 Laiffa Awards, 1 Nickeclip, Unicef Award, Mei Artist Revelation Award, 1 Renaissance Award is among only 4 Italians together with Pausini, Ramazzotti and Il Volo and have been interviewed by CNN. His latest album «Sparks», the fourth of unreleased albums, has been published in double English and Spanish versions, produced together with Scott Robinson (Demi Lovato, Christina Aguilera) and has obtained certification for 8 million streams.
