Ryro enters my music heart with the releases of debut single «Tidal Wave»

«Tidal Wave» is a sultry upbeat pop song about reclaiming your sexual power after a heartbreak.

It captures the journey of going from feeling «delicate, desolate» after a breakup, to declaring yourself ready for the «Tidal Wave» of emotions and sensations of a sexual relationship to hit you again. The visceral power of this spiritual release, of opening yourself up again to getting close to another human, is like a force of nature. «Tidal Wave» is about taking back your power from someone who left you and deciding on your own terms that you are ready to be swept away by a new flood of passion.

Through years of songwriting Ryro has honed his ability to craft super catchy pop hooks, surprising listeners with insightful lyrics. He writes and produces all his own music, splitting his time between London and Madrid.

While living in London, Ryro invested his time in numerous co-writing sessions with other writers and producers he tells me. This included sessions with Grammy-nominated artist MNEK, who co-wrote and produced two 2021 UK number 1 hits («Head & Heart» and «Sweet Melody»).

An upcoming acoustic version and two remixes of «Tidal Wave» will reimagine the song in a new light. Ryro tells me that he is planning several further pop single releases in 2021 (can you wait, I’m surely can’t).
