Hollie Gautiér is impressively candid with her songwriting. She conveys her lyrics effortlessly with a raw sense of self-awareness and a rich tone that is often compared to the likes of Jorja Smith and Amy Winehouse. BBC Introducing has been an avid supporter of Hollie, naming her last two release their «Track of the Day» and premiered her track «Little Men» ahead of it’s release 28th April.
«Little Men» was written based on true events. «Little Men» is an alternative pop track that empowers females and exposes this sexist ‘little men’ mentality that is often used to make women feel inadequate in comparison. After talking to other women in the creative industry who have experienced similar conversations, I knew it was so important for this song to be released.
Hollie looks to 2021 with positive energy as it’s set to be a huge year for the singer-songwriter. She is prime to hit stages with an all-new storming set of soul-stirring songs, with her sights set on the stratosphere. With new music coming out in Summer 2021, this is a very exciting time to discover Hollie Gautiér.
