Queer Pop Singer Neyon’s «Glammed Up»

German queer pop musician Neyon released second single «Glammed Up» as part of his current techno glam pop era.

«You can both see it as bold and absurd, but to be honest: I always feel best when I feel like I look good», says the singer who currently lives in Berlin to me.

The track plays homage to classic glam rock and adds modern electronic sounds to it. Neyon’s vocals carry both pride and a rocky self-confident attitude. The bridge in the middle of the song stands out as the lyrics switch between English, French and German. «Some people probably think that I’m arrogant when they hear the lyrics, but honey, your look is an expression of who you are. And you gotta celebrate that», he further explains.
