7 new songs are ready to challenge the 50 songs on the LGBTQ Music Chart from Monday. For the challengers for next week chart, we had over 30 submitted songs to choose between, but still only 7 available spots. You can vote on these songs from Monday – here is the voting page.
KEiiNO – «Addjas»
Their mix of uplifting dancepop, folk and joik (traditional Sámi singing) has reached a broad audience beyond their nordic beginnings.
Ruben – «Candy»
The Norwegian village of Bjarkøy doesn’t look like the kind of place a major musician with 170 million+ streams and a Norwegian Grammy for Song of the Year (Lay By Me) would earn his stripes, but music – in some way – has been in pop star Ruben’s blood right from his small town beginnings.
Ryan O’Shaughnessy – «Coffee»
Ryan O’Shaughnessy is an Irish singer-songwriter and former actor from Dublin. Yes, he has been in Eurovision in 2018 with the song «Together» – and the Russian TV station explained that two guys holding hands on stage was because they were very good friends.
Tom Goss – «Pride»
Tom Goss is a veteran singer-songwriter who blends a soulful voice and atmospheric soundscapes in expertly crafted songs about the joys and struggles of modern love.
Abigail Fierce – «Scream It to the Whole World»
Abigail Fierce is a 20 year-old LGBT singer-songwriter/actress living in LA. She loves to write songs alone at 4am.
Knut Kippersund – «Head High – Oslo Pride 2021»
He from Tangen in Hedmark, Norway, 30 years old, went to the music department at High School and he is a trained classical vocalist.
Naisa – «I feel it»
Expressing his thoughts through art.
