Melanie C and the club-cabaret collective Sink the Pink will give an unforgettable show on the big stage in Pride Park on Wednesday, July 31st.
Sink the Pink is led by Glyn Fussel, who 10 years ago formed the club format with a friend after another disappointed night out in London. They wanted to include the whole community and make a mix of moves, home parties, cabaret and club. Glyn and Melanie C are also old friends who now put together a very special show that will tour at Pride festivals around the world this summer with a stop at Pride Park in Stockholm.
«This is a dream come true, Sink the Pink is the most inclusive, fun, amazing club in London and we bring the best draw artists for a very special show», says Melanie C about the tour.
Glyn and Sink the Pink are also obviously excited about the collaboration
«It’s not every day a bunch of drag queens may go on tour with a Spice Girl. This shows Melanie’s great support for the LGBTQ community and we honestly shit sequins in ecstasy over this. The world, here we come!».
The tour begins in Sao Paolo on Midsummer Eve, the countdown to July 31 has officially begun!
Previously confirmed artists for Stockholm Pride 2019 are Pussy Riot, Village People and Icona Pop.
