MKSM‘s success was crowned last year with the «Song of the Year» LGBTQ Music Award for his Pride anthem «Original Self – Enough is Enough».
As with all his songs, the lyrics for «Tipsy in Love» were written by MKSM himself. The music was written in collaboration with the British songwriter Nicholas Alexander Cox and Franz-Wieland Filtz.
MKSM tells me what «Tipsy in Love» means : «You get to know someone and you are in a state of uncertainty and insecurity. Contrary to ‘drunk in love‘, you are just tipsy: You have the feeling that you’ve gone either too far or not far enough. Is it too early or too late? Will I get hurt or could it lead to something serious? Your consciousness is clouded and things seem unclear».
At the moment, MKSM is in the recording studio regularly, working with the producing team on his new EP: «After the release of the first single, other songs of the EP will be released within short intervals», MKSM promises. As with all the art out there, the journey is the reward. Music is something that you create and it changes over and over again. The same does count for real musicians like MKSM.
