In March 2020, Matell had his first No. 1 when «Tell Me 2020» topped Junodownload’s Dance Club Songs Chart. It became his first of two consecutive No. 1 remix available today (28) as the first single from Tell Me. The No. 1 Junodownload’s Bestsellers charts, even bumping The Pet Shop Boys, Boy George, and Gladys Knight out of the No. 1 and No, 2 spots in the week ending 29 March 29, 2020.

The second chart-topping achievement followed the success of «Tell Me». This topped the same Junodownload chart during the COVID19 pandemic becoming Matell second consecutive No. 1 Hip-Hop Bestsellers charts, even bumping Angie Stone. «Tell Me» has garnered good reviews for several tracks «How I’m Missing You» was dubbed as being like a classic Dr. Dre track, by DJ CYGNU6 and HERMAN HILDO on their BEYOND THE MIX | 7/27/2020 Rooted Kingdom Music on Ep. 6 – Not Again! at In time: 42:59 – Out time 44:44 – Another artist in our spotlight is Matell.
