Gareth Shortland, who recently remixed tracks on Steps’ hit «What The Future Holds» album, and Matty Graham (Leona Lewis) have delivered remixes for the track, which was met with critical acclaim upon its release last month. Shortland’s remix is a high energy take inspired by early 00’s trance, while Graham’s is classic EDM reminiscent of Swedish House Mafia and Avicii.
Robert recently revealed the music video for «Too Late» was shot in one hour as a result of COVID lockdown restrictions in Ireland. The Dublin-born singer explained the concept: «With only a walk in the park permitted, I dream of a time when we can dance together in a club again».
The idea, he says, was sparked after he read a review of the single that sympathised with him releasing a dance record during a global pandemic.
«Too Late» (Remixes) is out March 12. «Transcendence» (Deluxe) is out now on all streaming outlets and on limited edition CD exclusively via Bandcamp.
