7 new songs are ready to challenge the 50 songs on the LGBTQ Music Chart from Monday. For the challengers for next week chart, we had over 30 submitted songs to choose between, but still only 7 available spots. You can vote on these songs from Monday – here is the voting page.
The Weather Girls – «Pride Strong»
The Weather Girls, Martha Wash and Izora Armstead, started out in the gospel group NOW (News of the World) before they became backup singers for Sylvester in the’70s.
Sebastian Walldén – «Gåshud»
Sebastian Walldén born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden. Knew at the age of 5, when he was standing in front of his parents performing that he wanted to devote himself to the music scene. Over the years, the interest cooled down until in 2018 he decided to participate on the Swedish version of American Idol, where he ended up as the winner!
Osvaldo Supino – «Lights Down Low»
Born in Torremaggiore, Italy, with 4 albums, 1 EP and 8 singles collected in the top10 chart of iTunes, Osvaldo Supino holds the record as first Italian artist ever nominated 3 times at BT Digital Music Awards in UK.
Homer Marrs – «Happy Pride from the End of the World»
Homer Marrs is an indie rock musician who gets compared to They Might Be Giants but sounds more like David Sedaris tickle-fighting R.E.M. His sound is catchy pop/rock with seriocomic lyrics: fun, melancholy, fierce.
Edward the First – «Renaissancing»
The royal love-child of Marie Antoinette & George Michael.
PJ Taylor – «Broken Melodies»
British singer and songwriter currently recording his second album Escapism due for release this year.
Maya Wagner – «Closeted»
Maya Wagner is an 20 year old singer/songwriter and producer who was born and raised in Central New Jersey. .
