RetroPopBoy unveils new single «Never Felt as Good»
The New single from RetroPopBoy is the Pet Shop Boys-eque «Never Felt as Good».
Written by Barry Stone (who has written hits for Adam Rickitt, S Club, and Rachel Stevens) and with additional lyrics by RetroPopBoy, the single was produced by Project K (Nicky French, Hazell Dean, Sonia) and remixed by 7th Heaven, who have remixed dancefloor fillers for the likes of Kylie, Steps, Erasure, and Cher among others. With such a pedigree, the track is like the gay equivalent of a royal baby!
Listing his packing «essentials» as «The Immaculate Collection, my Kylie Hits CDs» in the lyrics, RetroPopBoy takes us on an emotional journey from the elation of finishing a bad relationship to the hurt and bad karma of being left by your new love.
The single is accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek «Lockdown Zoom meeting» video, where a focus group gives unwelcome feedback on the track. The 7th Heaven remix is featured on DancePool and already making an impact.
Single out October 14th on digital platforms.
