Queer Glam Rock Artist Leone Goes Solo

Following the success of queer glam rock band Deitre, lead singer/songwriter fka Richie Bee Leone goes solo with his new project Leone.

Previously described by OUT Magazine as «emotional, inspiring, and raw», Richie’s sound turns vulnerable with Leone’s debut single and video, «Monochrome Colors» out Friday, March 4. On this emotive track, Leone wails about time and how nothing lasts forever. The lyrics paint a picture of having everything and losing it all in the blink of an eye. «Monochrome Colors» is the lead single off of Leone’s debut EP set to release in early 2022.

Leone is an alternative pop/rock artist from Brooklyn, NY. Singer/songwriter Richie Bee Leone leads this all-out sensory experience with a striking, charismatic stage presence, fusing artful androgyny with a piercing vibrato and heartfelt lyrics in a dramatic fashion. music», Richie says. «I think it’s important, especially as a queer person, to share stories that are more honest and vulnerable. Experiences that are human. There’s freedom in letting out deep-rooted pain and I hope to help others heal with this new sound».
