KEiiNO creates pop music that draws inspiration from Sami and Norwegian cultural traditions. They hold the belief that everyone, regardless of their background, should have the opportunity to dance in a way that is as vibrant and free as the mesmerising colours of the northern lights. Their music aims to evoke a sense of energy and joy, encouraging listeners to express themselves and embrace the happiness that comes from dancing. Through their songs, they strive to spread positivity and create an uplifting atmosphere that resonates with people, inviting everyone to celebrate life with enthusiasm and a sense of freedom.
One of Sweden biggest pop star Darin came out as gay in 2020. Darin began his career when he was 14 years old, writing songs for others.
Madison, Wisconsin-based Indie singer/songwriter Helen Counts crafts songs with strong vocals and evocative lyrics, hallmarks of her distinct sound. Her recent single, «Unavailable», was produced in collaboration with Trystan Matthews of Demo My SongⓇ in New York, NY. Counts aims to create music that resonates with listeners beyond the final note.
Marko Bošnjak is known for being incredibly direct and honest, never one to shy away from speaking his mind. In a particularly bold move, he publicly came out to the Croatian population live on television. This significant moment occurred shortly after he achieved victory at Dora. To clarify for those unfamiliar, Dora is Croatia’s national song competition, functioning much like Sweden’s Melodifestivalen. The winner of Dora is chosen to represent Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest, so it essentially serves as the platform for picking their Eurovision entry!
Jeff Kristian’s latest single, titled «Kaleidoscope», delves into the fascinating and often enigmatic creative process behind songwriting. It’s a journey of exploration, meticulously examining the various stages and influences that contribute to the birth of a song.
Hey there! Our playlist gets a fresh update every Friday with new and exciting music, so keep an eye out for that. Please note that the artists mentioned above may not be featured on the playlist due to this update.
