Pop Firecracker Rhian! Drops Sexy, High‑Voltage Dance Anthem «Up & Down» — Out 29 January 2026

By Jungle Telegraph23/01/2026 Article 27 Views

Pop artist Rhian! unleashes his sexy, high‑energy dance single «Up & Down», blending 80s synths, electro‑pop attitude and fierce club vibes. Out 29 January 2026 with early BBC Introducing support.

Pop dynamo Rhian! is kicking off 2026 with a bang, unleashing his sizzling new single «Up & Down» — a turbo‑charged dancefloor weapon packed with attitude, adrenaline and enough bounce to power an entire night out.

Recorded at Intonoise Studio in London and co‑written/produced with Massimo Braghieri, the track is already causing a stir after its live debut at Rhian!’s Fierce & Fabulous show at the Phoenix Arts Club last November. The crowd reaction was so electric, Rhian! knew instantly it had to be the next single.

A Hook That Hits Hard — And Refuses to Let Go

«Up & Down» wastes no time grabbing you by the collar. It launches straight into a ridiculously catchy hook, followed by a hot‑blooded bassline and punchy percussion that lock you into full‑body movement mode.

Paired with Rhian!’s unmistakable vocal, the track creates a wild, carefree, let‑loose atmosphere — the kind of euphoric chaos that defines a proper night out.
Lyrically, it taps into the dizzying push‑and‑pull of a lover who sends your head spinning. But instead of sinking into heartbreak, Rhian! keeps the mood bright, bold and defiantly fun, delivering a short, sharp blast of pure dance‑pop joy.

80s Synths, Tech House Roots & A Dash of Dead or Alive

Speaking about the track, Rhian! reveals the song’s evolution took a few unexpected turns:

«The song is about an indecisive lover who keeps messing you around. It started off quite minimal, like a tech house track, but Massimo mentioned it reminded him of a Dead or Alive track which inspired me. I was on a quest to find synth sounds used on 80s dance tracks and the production took another direction which I’m so pleased with».

The result? A sleek, modern electro‑pop banger with a nostalgic wink to the golden age of 80s dance.

Already Spinning on BBC Introducing

Before its official release, «Up & Down» has already scored radio play on BBC Introducing, signalling strong early support for what could be Rhian!’s most infectious single yet.
Landing 29 January 2026, the track cements Rhian!’s place in the UK’s thriving Dance and Electro‑Pop scene — bold, unapologetic and bursting with personality.

Stay Fierce, Stay Fabulous — Follow Rhian!

Fans can keep up with new releases, live shows and behind‑the‑scenes chaos by following @rhiansongs across social media. «Up & Down» is shaping up to be the soundtrack of early 2026 — sexy, energetic and impossible to sit still to. Rhian! isn’t just going up… he’s skyrocketing.
