Sweden’s soul powerhouse Toussaint Chiza — known to millions as Tusse — has stormed into spring with a brand‑new single that’s already turning heads. «No Sinner No Saint», released today, is a fiery burst of 60s‑inspired soul packed with raw emotion, gospel grit and the kind of vocal power that made him a national favourite.
The track is lifted from his upcoming debut album «It Takes a Village to Love a Child», and if this first taste is anything to go by, fans are in for something bold, honest and unapologetically personal. Tusse reveals the song was born out of a long, snow‑locked winter in the studio, when he realised the album needed a shot of pure adrenaline. Producer Irya Gmeyner delivered a swinging beat and vintage organ chords, and the moment he heard them, the lyrics came pouring out in one emotional rush. He describes the experience as feeling like he was standing in front of his entire Christian family, ripping off the mask and declaring he’s no saint — despite his name literally meaning «all saints».
To keep the performance as unfiltered as possible, the track was recorded using a Beta 58 microphone, giving it a live, close‑up intensity that cuts straight through the speakers.
Tusse has already made his mark on major stages including the Sports Gala and Nyhetsmorgon, and this new release cements his place as one of the most distinctive voices in Swedish soul and gospel. With «No Sinner No Saint», he’s not just back — he’s baring his soul, breaking the mould and setting the tone for a debut album that promises to hit hard.
