Scott Gardner has been writing his own music and lyrics for the past decade, developing songs that told stories about his own life experiences, and the inspiration for this song came to fruition just like that;
«I wanted to write this song because I am gay, and as a community I feel we never had our own fairytale, cartoon, or Disney movie to resonate with. I thought it would be nice to have a song like this to relate to, and contribute to that fairy tale idea. That’s why I created the characters on the single artwork. It’s unfortunate our community doesn’t have this type of fairy tale but I wanted to create this feeling of a teenage dream, new love».
Growing up in Northern California, Scott didn’t gain his 322K Instagram fans overnight, he worked hard for it, and has been singing and dancing for most of his life. From being a competitive cheerleader; to having a successful career modelling internationally for the last 10 years, living and working in Asia, LA, and NYC, and gracing the pages of magazines such as V-Man, Galore, Boyfriend.
