Celebrating LGBTQ Music Across Europe and Beyond

This is the Story About Us !

Launched in Week 39 of 2018, the LGBTQ Music Chart has become a dynamic platform showcasing the rich diversity and talent of LGBTQ artists and their allies. From its inception, the chart has embraced a pan-European identity, spotlighting music that resonates with the LGBTQ community and its supporters across the globe.

A Chart Powered by the Community

At the heart of the LGBTQ Music Chart is our audience. Each week, listeners cast their votes to determine which tracks climb the ranks and claim the coveted number one spot. This democratic approach ensures that the chart reflects the voices and tastes of the community it serves.

Inclusive, Global, and Proud

We welcome submissions from artists who identify as LGBTQ or who are proud allies of the community. All musical genres and languages are embraced—our only request is that communication with our team be conducted in English. Our mission is to amplify love, positivity, and authenticity through the universal language of music.

A Legacy of Advocacy

The LGBTQ Music Chart is proudly owned and operated by MySoCalledGayLife.eu, a trusted platform that has been uplifting LGBTQ voices and sharing community-focused news since 2000. In October 2025, we transitioned from lgbtqmusicchart.uk to lgbtqmusicchart.eu to more accurately reflect our pan-European scope and commitment to inclusivity across borders.

Join the Movement

Whether you’re an artist, a fan, or an ally, the LGBTQ Music Chart invites you to be part of a vibrant musical journey that celebrates identity, unity, and creative expression. Together, we’re building a chart that’s more than just numbers—it’s a celebration of who we are.

LGBTQ Music Awards

The LGBTQ Music Awards are a distinguished initiative born from the collaboration between MySoCalledGayLife.co.uk (later MySoCalledGayLife.eu) and the LGBTQ Music Chart. Originally launched as the LGBTQ Music Vote in 2016 and 2017, the event was rebranded in 2018 to reflect its growing influence and commitment to recognising excellence in LGBTQ music.

A highlight of the awards is the coveted «Single of the Year» category, which invites global audiences to participate in celebrating the most impactful LGBTQ musical contributions of the year.

Dedicated to honouring LGBTQ artists and their allies, the LGBTQ Music Awards serve as a powerful platform to spotlight those who have made meaningful and lasting contributions to the LGBTQ community through music, visibility, and advocacy.
