A surprising dispute has erupted after musician Shojon contacted us in January 2025 demanding the removal of an article his own team once approved. The tone of his request was unexpectedly hostile, leaving us questioning the professionalism behind the outburst and raising concerns for anyone considering future collaborations with him.
Back in 2021, Shojon’s agent, management, or record label issued an official press release containing the very information we reported on, complete with an approved promotional photo. That material was distributed publicly and used by multiple outlets at the time. Yet, in 2025, Shojon now insists he never approved the release, despite its wide circulation. Another publication carried the same details we did, though we will not name them to avoid further conflict for us and the other outlet.
Shojon claims the articles contain inaccuracies, even though they were direct reproductions of the press release issued by his own team. If his statements are accurate, it would suggest that any misinformation originated from within his camp. We offered to correct anything he believed was wrong, but he declined. Based on the documentation we received in 2021, we remain confident that the information published was accurate at the time.
His sudden attempt to distance himself from a previously approved press release raises questions about why he now wants the material erased. We encourage any outlet planning to cover him to review the 2021 press release themselves and draw their own conclusions.
Next time it might be you he suddenly turns against, it might take years ( based on our experience).
Erasing history doesn’t negate its existence.
