He debuted in the music industry in 2019 with his first single «Tormenta», included in his EP «Noche», released in 2020 and based in a pop-electronic style with the sounds of the early 2000s.
After having composed the soundtrack of the short «In English, Please!», Part of the 22 BAFICI International Film Festival in Buenos Aires, Sergi continues his path as a solo artist with a contemporary pop song titled «Todo».
LGBTQ Music Chart encourages artist with none English songs, to submit their songs to the chart, like Sergi Ibor has done.
«Todo», is an eclectic pop uptempo, with an orchestral introduction and verses whose base could evoke a fashion runway. The song culminates in a catchy chorus with electronic power and a lyrical part on the bridge. Composed by the interpreter himself, the musical base has been produced by Fidel Cordero, producer of artists like Merche, and mastered by DJ Spam (Juan Sueiro), producer of Fangoria, among others.
The message of «Todo», as the artist himself explains to me, resides in «moving away from the behaviours established and marked by society. We must look further, within ourselves, knowing that what we really are is what remains of us when we leave behind everything that we are told
we should be. That is what really sets us apart and makes us unique. It is the essence that we must save and that sometimes we lose along the way».
