Chloe Star – «Straight Girls»

Chloe Star, an American pop artist of Persian descent, has released a new song and music video.

Chloe’s second track, «Straight Girls», follows her powerful debut single, «Element» and is a high-energy anthem with catchy trap-inspired beats and electro-pop vocals. Chloe explains, «The song is about examining my own sexuality». «I don’t know why, but I always end up dating quote on quote straight girls», the author said. The music video for the two songs was made by Carlos «Bawwse» (Kali Uchis, Justin Bieber, Emotional Oranges), Emilio Sanchez (Becky G, 21 Savage), and is a seductive and entertaining addition to the Chloe Star universe.

Native American Chloe Star is a vocalist, composer, visual artist, and tribal advocate. She spent part of her childhood living on her family’s reservation in San Bernardino and part of it in Los Angeles. She found comfort in keeping a journal and writing poetry because of the turbulent and frequently unsettled upbringing she had. She taught herself how to play the piano and the guitar, and she quickly began turning her poetry into songs.

Chloe is prepared to introduce herself to the world after spending the last few years identifying and honing her sound. The songs «Element» and «Straight Girls» will be on her upcoming EP, which should be released later this year.
