Your weekly dose of queer brilliance is here — louder, prouder and more electrifying than ever. This week’s chart is a community-curated celebration of LGBTQ artistry from around the world: a sonic rainbow of empowerment, love and fierce creativity that ranges from tender ballads to full-throttle pop anthems. The Top 50 Countdown is live and it’s the soundtrack your weekend needs.
Number 1 this week is Harrison with «All the Things She Said», landing the top spot just as Heated Rivalry becomes the number‑one show on HBO Max across Europe. The UK riser is riding a serious surge of momentum, with his explosive rework of the t.A.T.u classic erupting after its standout moment in the hit drama. While the original came from the infamously queerbaiting Russian duo, Harrison’s high‑voltage reboot has connected with an entirely new generation. Armed with a growing arsenal of festival‑ready anthems, he’s carving out his place among the electronic heavyweights who’ve shaped dance culture over the past decade — and the trajectory is only pointing upwards.
Ladsclub’s «Algorhythm» steps into the spotlight this week, cementing the Brighton‑based synth‑pop duo as one of the UK’s most compelling independent acts. Known for crafting every beat and lyric themselves, they fuse shimmering pop hooks with moody, atmospheric production to create a sound that feels both fresh and unmistakably their own. With album two already underway, the pair continue to build serious momentum across Britain’s thriving electronic scene, positioning Algorhythm as a key release for fans seeking innovative, home‑grown pop with real personality.
RetroPopBoy’s new single «Sorrow Town» takes the crown as this week’s Song of the Week, arriving as the follow‑up to last year’s LGBTQ+ chart success «Dreaming». A fresh spin on Peach’s 1998 cult classic, the track is produced by Project K — the hitmakers behind Steps, Dannii Minogue and a string of pop favourites — giving the cover a polished, retro‑leaning punch. Spanish artist RetroPopBoy, whose mission is to revive the golden age of retro pop, says the song’s themes echo «Smalltown Boy» and mirror his own journey from a conservative hometown in Spain to London’s liberating 1990s queer scene. Submitted by the artist, record label or management to the LGBTQ Music Chart, Sorrow Town stands out as a heartfelt, nostalgic and defiantly proud pop moment.
Oliver Rosenholm makes a striking entrance as this week’s newcomer with «Syvälle silmiin» («Deep into the Eyes»), the highly anticipated debut single from the artist who won The Voice of Finland and captured the nation’s attention. The track delves into the emotional pull of forbidden love, blending guilt, desire and vulnerability into a sleek, modern pop moment. With its crisp contemporary production and unmistakably Finnish edge, Rosenholm places storytelling and vocal expression front and centre, signalling the arrival of one of Finland’s most promising new pop voices. «Syvälle silmiin» marks a confident start to his solo chapter.
