LGBTQ Music Chart – Week 44 – 2026
Your weekly dose of queer brilliance is here, louder, prouder and more electrifying than ever. This week’s chart is a community-curated celebration of LGBTQ artistry from around the world: a sonic rainbow of empowerment, love and fierce creativity that ranges from tender ballads to full-throttle pop anthems. The Top 50 Countdown is live and it’s the soundtrack your weekend needs.
Number One this week
Boyzone — «Better»
Boyzone’s «Better» has claimed this week’s number one spot, a fitting tribute, given that it stands among Stephen Gately’s final recorded performances. In honour of Stephen, the track was added to the «Out on Friday!» playlist. Seventeen years on, his voice still resonates through the corridors of pop history, a poignant reminder that sometimes the brightest stars burn too briefly. He was Boyzone’s beautiful voice, silenced far too soon, an Irish local hero whose artistry left an indelible mark on pop music forever.
This Week’s Highlight
Patrik Jean — «Fatal Eyes»
This week’s Highlight is Patrik Jean’s «Fatal Eyes». After returning to Sweden’s Eurovision stage earlier this year, the Swedish pop artist delivers a euphoric dance track capturing the thrill of surrendering to love and the fear of relinquishing control.
This Newcomer of the week
Peter Jöback — «Ordinary Street»
Peter Jöback’s «Ordinary Street» is this week’s Newcomer of the Week. The Swedish singing sensation has finally released «Ordinary Street», a song that has been patiently awaiting its moment since 2018. As the first single from his forthcoming album, it marks the beginning of an exciting new musical chapter. «Can’t wait to share this with fans worldwide», Peter beams. It’s now been added to your favourite playlist, Out on Friday!, on Apple Music and Spotify. A new era begins!
Song of the Week
Leonardo Amor — «18 Years»
Leonardo Amor’s «18 Years» is this week’s Song of the Week. This raw, unflinching track comes from pop ballad sensation Leonardo Amor, who was born in the Philippines and is now based in Oslo, Norway. Following his emotional Melodi Grand Prix entry «Prayer», this courageous artist delivers a deeply personal story of surviving sexual abuse, an empowering anthem for survivors everywhere. A must-listen, and proof that music truly heals.
