LGBTQ Music Chart – Week 20 – 2026

Your weekly dose of queer brilliance is here — louder, prouder and more electrifying than ever. This week’s chart is a community-curated celebration of LGBTQ artistry from around the world: a sonic rainbow of empowerment, love and fierce creativity that ranges from tender ballads to full-throttle pop anthems. The Top 50 Countdown is live and it’s the soundtrack your weekend needs.

Number One this week

Søren Torpegaard Lund — «Før vi går hjem»

Søren Torpegaard Lund may have finished 7th at Eurovision 2026, but he’s sitting proudly at No. 1 on the LGBTQ Music Chart this week. Raised in the small Danish town of Gudme, he found his calling in musical theatre by age ten and made history at 17 as the youngest ever accepted into The Danish National School of Performing Arts. Since then, he’s starred in major Danish productions as a singer, dancer and actor — a true powerhouse on the rise.

This Week’s Spotlight

Joel Brogon — «Here on the Rio Grande»

Joel Brogon scores Spotlight of the Week with «Here on the Rio Grande», a stunning showcase of his bold queer voice in Folk and Americana. Blending South Texas roots with the sounds of the U.S.–Mexico border, he channels 70s folk storytellers and 90s country tradition, crafting a rich, timeless style that’s unmistakably his.

This Newcomer of the week

José Alfredo — «Perro»

José Alfredo scores Newcomer of the Week with «Perro», a fiery showcase of his evolution as one of Latin pop’s most authentic voices. Since bursting onto the scene with Valiente and Billboard hits like «Cómo Estás» and «Mírame Bien», he’s kept fans hooked with bold sounds, rich emotion and storytelling that hits straight to the heart.

Song of the Week

Skrellex — «Into the wild»

Skrellex scores Song of the Week with «Into the wild», one of the standout Melodi Grand Prix 2026 entries. Skrellex may not have made it to Eurovision, but they did win the hearts of LGBTQ Music Chart voters, who pushed the track to Song of the Week — a fierce fan‑powered victory that proves the wild always wins.
