Pride Month will end with a shock for LGBTQ Music Chart fans, as long‑time host Tim Graham prepares to step away after four years at the helm. The popular presenter is leaving Meridian FM to throw himself fully into the next chapter of his career, marking the end of an era for one of the LGBTQ community’s most beloved radio fixtures.
Inside the LGBTQ Music Chart team, the mood is a bittersweet mix of excitement and heartbreak. Founder Ephram St. Cloud says the news hit hard. When Tim first reached out four years ago with the idea of turning the chart into a radio show, Ephram admits he thought it was too good to be true. Previous approaches had fizzled out, and he feared history would repeat itself. Instead, Tim went all in — and transformed the project beyond anything the team imagined. What started as a single show on Meridian FM exploded into a fully syndicated programme broadcast across Europe and Australia, giving LGBTQ artists a global platform they had long been denied.
Now, with Tim preparing to move on, the future of the LGBTQ Music Chart radio show hangs in the balance. The chart itself will continue as normal, but Ephram says the team needs time to understand what comes next. «This news is new for us as well», he explains, adding that the direction of the radio show will become clearer towards the end of June 2026.
Tim, reflecting on his departure, says the decision was far from easy. «I’ve absolutely loved doing the chart show over the past four years and being part of helping showcase LGBTQ artists and music from around the world. It’s been such a unique and rewarding project to be involved in, and I’m really proud of what we’ve created together over that time», he says.
As Pride Month draws to a close, LGBTQ Music Chart prepares to say goodbye to the voice that helped define its sound — and to wait for the next chapter in a story that has already changed the landscape for LGBTQ music worldwide.
