Army of Lovers makes a comeback – with Ukrainian singer

Army of Lovers, a Swedish band, will release new material on October 6.

The wait is (almost) over !, Army of Lovers said in a Facebook post.  Army Of Lovers is back with their new single «Love Is Blue» featuring Olya Polyakova).

The seven power tracks from the «Sexodus» album will be released one track per week on Fridays from October 6 2023. Alexander Bard and Jean-Pierre Barda has been part of the Army of Lovers since band was formed back in 1987.

The band’s name references to German lesbian rights pioneer Rosa von Praunheim’s documentary film Army of Lovers or Revolt of the Perverts, the title of which alludes to the Sacred Band of Thebes, according to Wikipedia

The entire «Sexodus» album is released on Friday 24 November 2023.
