Your weekly dose of queer brilliance is here — louder, prouder and more electrifying than ever. This week’s chart is a community-curated celebration of LGBTQ artistry from around the world: a sonic rainbow of empowerment, love and fierce creativity that ranges from tender ballads to full-throttle pop anthems. The Top 50 Countdown is live and it’s the soundtrack your weekend needs.
History made and hearts sold: Osvaldo Supino takes the top spot with the smouldering, soulful pop of «Afterglow. Supino became the first Italian artist to perform at World Pride, and his warmth, honesty and stage presence have only amplified his ascent. His sound pairs classic Italian soul with global pop sensibilities — intimate one moment, stadium-ready the next — and Afterglow is a perfect bridge between the two: emotional, stylish and utterly addictive.
Rhian! and Brandy X sit at number 20 this week, marking the track as one of the week’s Spotlight. Born on the sun‑drenched Caribbean island of Trinidad, Rhian! began singing in church at just four years old, where his father was the preacher — a formative upbringing that shaped his musical voice even as he navigated the difficulties of growing up in a religious household while concealing his sexuality. Now, alongside Brandy X, he delivers a powerful song that functions as a daily mantra, an uplifting reminder to start each morning grounded in selfhood and positivity.
This week Pablo Brooks’ single «Risk» climbed to number 32, earning the title of the week’s «Song of the Week». The German queer pop artist’s synth‑pop track explores a renewed hope in love after past disappointments, its shimmering production and candid lyrics underscoring resilience and a readiness to embrace vulnerability even at the risk of further heartache.
This week’s newcomer is Kyle Alessandro with «Model». A swaggering club number and an open‑hearted declaration in one, it pairs attitude with a driving pulse. Co‑written with Richello and Kristin Marie Solem, «Model» is an invitation for everyone to feel like the star of the night.
