Norway: Planning to protest outside NRK until the Eurovision final

Israel's Eurovision participation remains a topic of debate, with demonstrations planned outside NRK leading up to the international final.

We will continue to demonstrate every morning until May 11 if necessary, stated spokesperson Janne Heltberg on behalf of Action Group Palestine ( Aksjonsgruppe Palestina), the organisers of the protest to Norwegian newspaper VG.

On Friday morning, NRK (Norwegian host broadcaster of Eurovision) employees were greeted by 13 protesters gathered at Marienlyst in Oslo, Norway, advocating for the exclusion of Israel from Eurovision 2024.

As long as NRK chooses not to act, we must do the opposite so that our broadcaster realises the seriousness of it. Hopefully we can end the campaign sooner, says Janne Heltberg to VG, spokesperson for Action Group Palestine ( Aksjonsgruppe Palestina), and continues:
